I’m starting to see why most american’s think English people speak with a posh accent lol we need a commoner to make it famous in america and show them we don’t all speak like that πŸ™‚

@klum03 My thoughts exactly. You can never take what an ANONYMOUS person over a computer says seriously, esp if they’re bashing someones LOOKS. That itself just shows their insecurity. Clearly they are all pressed haters who are just jealous of his beautiful face. I bet my money these people don’t look half as handsome as him! Haaaa

@23Mychal24 so if they refer to scorer as football than what do to they call actual football, rugby or something??

Does anyone know the designer for the shirt he is wearing? I have looked through LV, Tom Ford, YSL and paul smith but can’t find it. Much appreciated!

I got to see Beckham recently at an LA galaxy game. Damn, the women went CRAZY for him. You’ve never heard glass shattering high pitch screaming until he came out.

The word soccer comes from England. It’s an abreviation of “Association Football”.

“They love baseball, american football, BassetBall…”

David Beckham may be playing for the LA Galaxy, but his heart and mind will always be with Manchester United. So sad that he went down the limelight he still be with United. You know his former and still 21 years still playing Ryan Giggs could of gone down the David Beckham path with tv star and the limelight. He chose to focus on football (soccer) and guess what? The most titles for any English football player and still with Manchester United 21 years and counting.

Thats a fair point. The term ‘Soccer’ stems from the word ‘soc’ which in America means ‘to kick’ but either I see what you mean.

Also I think the whole “Hollywood Lifestyle” has a way of transforming a person into wanting to be in the public eye, hence the ads and what not.

@RickySteveAndKarlFan I know, but Ive heard him saying it in England a couple of times too now. It does my head in massively.

I know hesο»Ώ a good bloke but he’s supposed to be educating them on ‘football’ by being out there and hes just going around kissing arse. If he carries on you’ll start to hear it more and more in England too. Guaranteed

I just think you play it with your feet – its football

I just miss when he was more worried about being a footballer than a celeb in the US.
